Blue Water Thinking

Kiddy International’s Blue Water Thinking programme is generally a two-day  "thinking outside the box"  event for senior managers to plan and address strategic issues. The event takes place on an offshore-yacht away from the pressures of corporate life and is facilitated by an experienced business psychologist. We use sailing as a metaphor for business life:

 "a voyage to a challenging destination....against the winds and tides of change....navigating around hazards...... with a crew of many qualities"

During the event we work together to:

• Get a clearer view and better perspective of where we are
• Agree the key issues facing the organisation
• Consider all the possible solutions
• Focus on the most advantageous solution
• Agree the implementation process
• Decide how we will cooperate to deliver the result

The event gives people a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in which to get down to some serious planning and consideration of key issues. Additionally participants get the opportunity to learn more about each other's style and preferences. The event is "all inclusive" with participants living, eating and sleeping aboard the yacht.
